In my previous three posts, I have discussed about varnashram Dharma of Vedas and how the political system of the world are influenced by Sanatan Philosophy.No body could ever proved any of these wrong. Now a days I am facing questions regarding the philosophy of Karma and re-birth.Let me share information regarding the theory of re-birth and Karma-1. As per the Sanatan Philosophy, three things are eternal viz. Paramatma, Atma and Prakriti. 2. All have a distinct role to play.3. Like Paramatma and Prakriti, Atma can neither be created, nor can be killed.4. It can be transfered from one body to another.5. Every Atma has some distinct character.6. The Atma will get a body that best suits its character, e.g. if the characters of an Atma are similar to a dog, what ever he may be in this birth, in the next birth he will get body of a dog.7. How ever Atma can change its character, but can not reduce the characters to NIL, e.g. an atma who has the character of a dog today, with good practice, can change its character similar to human, in the next birth the atma will get a body of human. But there will remain some character, it can not be NIL.8. In this way, when the Atma replaces all its bad characters (said as tama guna or black characters in Vedas) into good characters (said as Satva Guna or bright characters in Vedas), the Atma will get closer to paramatma.9. Reaching the Paramatma will end its journey. Last night a man named Vivek Sharma asked me to show proves how this philosophy is followed every where. According to his words, nobody even belief on re-birth. And science has proved there is no after life.I could not stop my laughter when I heard science has proved there is no after life. I simply replied him, science never proved, but gives hint. Which must pass through many phases till it is in a form to be argued. After a long argument, if it passes through all questions, then we can say it is proved.But my point is very clear, I said Sanatan Philosophy is followed by every one, when I say every one, I always say its the nations, the constitutions that follow the Sanatan Philosophy. Following and believing are different. People don't agree, but they are supporting the theory of Karma. The judiciary system of all civilised nations is based on the theory of re-birth and karma. Now check it out - 1. Based on your character, you will involve yourself in either crime or betterment of your life.2. If you are involved in any crime, you will get punishment more reasonable for the crime committed by you3. The Punishment will not be till death (capital punishment is not good as per Vedas, and many nations also accepted this view. So there will not be a punishment for ever. Although in some parts of the world including India, capital punishment is prevailing, steps are taken up world wide to wipe out capital punishment)4. After completion the term of punishment, one is discharged of all past deeds, and given new life to live in the society.5. Based on his nature of crime, and his behavior, society gives him a chance to accept a profession he deserves. Thus the theory of Karma and re-birth followed.

Many people think that the caste system in India is promoted by the Vedas. How ever Vedas never say that. Then they started saying that the same is in Geeta. And Bhagaban Krishna started the caste system. For that they quote two slokas from the Geeta : 3.35  "sreyan sva-dharmo vigunah
para-dharmat sv-anusthitat
sva-dharme nidhanam sreyah
para-dharmo bhayavahah"According to them, it says the shudras to be slaves always. Where as the truth is some thing different. Chapter – 3 " Karma Yoga" meaning "Deeds". In the previous chapter Krishna said Arjuna about the knowledge. He said Knowing the Vedas but not following them is not enough, what is required is knowing the summary of the vedas and following them.
This is the summary of the entire chapter –"vihaya kaman yah sarvan
pumams carati nihsprhah
nirmamo nirahankarah
sa shantim adhigacchati""A person who has given up all desires for sense gratification, who lives free from desires, who has given up all sense of proprietorship and is devoid of false ego—he alone can attain real peace."But Arjuna had some more questions, so he asked,"arjuna uvaca
jyayasi cet karmanas te
mata buddhir janardana
tat kim karmani ghore mam
niyojayasi keshavavyamisreneva vakyena
buddhim mohayashiva me
tad ekam vada niscitya
yena sreyo ’ham apnuyam""Arjuna said: O Janardana, O Keshava, why do You want to engage me in this ghastly warfare, if You think that intelligence is better than fruitive work?""My intelligence is bewildered by Your equivocal instructions. Therefore, please tell me decisively which will be most beneficial for me."Then Krishna said,
"sri-bhagavan uvaca
loke ’smin dvi-vidha nistha
pura prokta mayanagha
jnana-yogena sankhyanam
karma-yogena yoginam""The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: O sinless Arjuna, I have already explained that there are two classes of men who try to realize the self. Some are inclined to understand it by empirical, philosophical speculation, and others by devotional service.""na hi kascit ksanam api
jatu tisthaty akarma-krt
karyate hy avasah karma
sarvah prakriti-jair gunaih""Everyone is forced to act helplessly according to the qualities he has acquired from the modes of material nature; therefore no one can refrain from doing something, not even for a moment."  REMEMBER THE WORD 'GUNAH' HERE. MEANS INTERNAL QUALITY. AND THIS GUNA ON FIRST HAND INDICATES ABOUT YOUR VARNA.So the Varna has been derived from your Guna here. Now what karma should you do to be in a particular varna ????Now Krishna says,"niyatam kuru karma tvam
karma jyayo hy akarmanah
sarira-yatrapi ca te
na prasiddhyed akarmanah""Perform your prescribed duty, for doing so is better than not working. One cannot even maintain one’s physical body without work."Remember the word used here is "Karma" not "Dharma".. So do (karma)work according to your internal quality, i.e. Guna… Not working is not good. So keep on doing what you can do at best.. If you can study, keep on studying, If you can teach, keep on teaching, if you can rescue people keep on that, if ever you are not able to do these above activities, keep on doing what ever you can do, but dont be idle.."yas tv atma-ratir eva syad
atma-trptas ca manavah
atmany eva ca santustas
tasya karyam na vidyate""But for one who takes pleasure in the self, whose human life is one of self-realization, and who is satisfied in the self only, fully satiated—for him there is no duty."And Krishna gave a number of examples describinng what is Karma..The most important word then he said in 3.28 ,"tattva-vit tu maha-baho
guna-karma-vibhagayoh
guna gunesu vartanta
iti matva na sajjate…"He says to differentiate between the Guna and Karma. And this combination of Guna and karma describes you what shoul be your Dharma meaning the right way to perform what you do.So at first, see what qualities you have, then select a profession best suited to your quality, namely Law, Medicine, Engg, Teaching, Warfare etc, and perform the duties given under that profession alone. That is your Dharma…Then He said,"sreyan sva-dharmo vigunah
para-dharmat sv-anusthitat
sva-dharme nidhanam sreyah
para-dharmo bhayavahah""It is far better to discharge one’s prescribed duties, even though faultily, than another’s duties perfectly. Destruction in the course of performing one’s own duty is better than engaging in another’s duties, for to follow another’s path is dangerous."  Reading the verse alone you failed to understand the real meaning of it. But if you read the entire chapter, you will understand Dharma is nothing but the professional ethics. If you are a lawer, you can understand they have to follow such ethics. While arguing a case for your client you should follow your ethics only. Its always better to die for your ethics, then to do the ethics meant for some other person.The other sloka they quote is, 4.13 "catur-varnyam maya srstam
guna-karma-vibhagasah
tasya kartaram api mam
viddhy akartaram avyayam "And they translate it as if Caste system is derived by birth. But in earlier chapter it has been clarified that Caste has nothing to do with birth, it is derived from one's guna and karma. This verse only says that this words are created by him. The real meaning is as follows- The four varnas are created by me according to different qualities (Guna – गुण), and being deeds (karma – कर्म). Although the creator of these, know me as non doer (akartaarm – कर्तारं) being immutable.Before I write my comments read the Comments of the great saints on this –Lord Krishna is the origin of the four classifications in Vedic culture as spoken here. Those of sattva guna or the mode of goodness are designated as Brahmins or priestly class. Those of mixed sattva guna and rajas guna or the mode of passion are known as ksatriyas or warrior class. Those mixed with rajas guna and tama guna or the mode of ignorance are the vaisyas or mercantile class and those in tama guna are the sudras or servant class. The actions of Lord always possess shama or tranquillity and dama or self- control in their performance thus even if He appears to do nothing He is the performer and if He appears to be the performer He is the non- performer of His actions. Even though He is the origin of the entire creation He has no desires and remains unattached. Thus it has been perceived that those who perform actions without desires, unattached to rewards have developed an attribute of the Lord. (By madhavacharya)Now My comment-
Two words are very important here, one is Guna (Internal quality). Some are good in studies, some are not. Some are brave, some are not, some are good in making money, some are not, some are very bad in all the aboves. So its first Guna that decided to which class a human will belong to. Guna is also said in vedas. Veda classifies Gunas as Satva Guna, Rajja Guna and tammo Guna. Now people corellate these gunas with color of skin. But these are not color of skin, these are attributes given to understand the inner nature of the Gunas. People with satva gunas only (or good quality) are brahmins, rajas gunas are khatriya or baishyas and tamo gunas are sudras.
In other words, those who are good in studies are brahmins, those who are good in wars are khatriyas, those whoare good in business are baishyas and those who are not good in studies, nor in warfare nor in business are sudras.Now the next important word is karma (Deeds) Meaning behavior deeds of a human also effects his varna. Even though one is good in studies, but later joins army will be considered as a khatriya (Prove Ravan, born from a Brahmin, learned all vedas and practiced priesthood for 20 years, then became warrior, afterwards he was considered as a khatriya, and Ram at the end learnt khatriya dharma from Ravan). Similarly if some one is good in wars but later changes to learn and teach will be considered as a brahman (Prove – Rishi Viswamitra was a king. He saw that knowledge has great power then swords. So, he did tapasya to attain knowledge, later he was 1st said as Rajarishi and later Maharishi). If a sudra learns and teaches will be considered as a Brahmin too (Prove – Vyasa Deva, was a sudra, he remained as a shudra till his marriage. Then he learned vedas, wrote Puranas, people called him a great saint and greatest brahmin of that time). Not only a shudra but also a dasyu if learns and delivers knowledge will be said as brahmin (Prove – Valmiki, he was a docait, he used to loot innocent people. later did tapasya, got knowledge and wrote Ramayan. He was also considered as maharishi)

In my previous two blogs I have shown some proves to show how the Sanatan Philosophy is followed arround the world. One friend (whom I don't know personally) commented that the basis of Sanatan Philosophy is not followed any where. He pointed out how idol worship is followed ?

Well, a very good point. But this philosophy is also followed by all the nations across the globe.

For that we have to understand what are the idols or what so many gods and goddesses are meant for. According to Hindu mythology, Supreme is the Supreme Soul or the Purusha (not to be confused with male, as in the pronouns used in Vedas treat it as neuter gender. viz. om tat sat). He created every thing. He is nothing but the truth. He created many Lokas (lands like the Earth, Heaven, Hell etc), he created Brahma to create the nature, Vishnu to to maintain the nature and Shiva to destroy which is not necessary. He created Yam raj to judge the people and award them either hell or heaven. He created the Sun and the planets, he created the stars. He created the air, water, rain. He created the seasons. 

We people go to respective god for which he was created. For example, in case of short rain fall, we worship Indra to give us rain, instead one can worship Brahma or paramatman.

Now, the compare this with the prevailing system on the earth. Every country has a constitution, which is nothing but the truth. Constitution created all legal bodies. It creates the Parliament to create the legal system, it creates the system to run the legal systems, it creates the system to review and change the legal systems, it creates the Jails, it creates Courts to adjudicate the crimes and award punishment.

The Philosophy of Vedas is that every country should run as the paramatman runs the universe. Instead of arguing and giving every thing to find a mistake in Vedas, people should give every thing to paramatman to give liberation from bondage of births.

In my previous blog, I have sited the proves how the very basic philosophy of Vedas are adopted by the world at large. Now I will give some more concepts of Sanatan Philosophy that are followed by the world.1. Both the Abrahamic Religions (Islam and Christianity) says that if some one is not accepting the fact that the God is the only God as mentioned by their prophets (Allah or Jesus as the case may be) shall be put to death. Where as the Sanatan Philosophy Says, there exists many Sampradays (Religions), all follow a different path, all call the Paramatman (Word that may be replaced by God, but there is no word similar to this in any other language) in different names, but ultimately they call the Parmatman, and all the paths lead to the Paramatman. So there is always a right of the people to argue on any path and any name. This is not a crime.Now see which philosophy is followed ? All most all the nations are following Secularism, that means to respect all the religions, that restricts blasphemy, that allows people to argue on God, and that allows people to follow any religion they like. 2. Both Islam and Christianity say images can not be worshiped. Both the religions say no body can draw the image of God. Islam goes a ahead and says nobody can even draw the images of the Holy Prophet. The reason is not addressed in these two religions, but the reason is said in Vedas, it says The Paramatman has no Image (Nirakar - NiH Akar - NiH means Not, Akar means Akar). Now some thing that has no existance how it can be drawn ? So no body can draw the Images of The Paramatman, It means even if some body tries to, he can not draw the images. Its some thing like to draw the images of human living on Sun. No body can do so, if ever he does, its just imaginary, not the actual. But Sanatan Philosophy never imposes any penalty for an attempt to draw images. Where as both Christianity and Islam fixed a death penalty for making an attempt to draw the images. Now some one will argue what are the images found in temples ? They are images of Devatas. The equivalent word for Devata is not available in any other languages. So people must learn a new word here. Devata are the natural forces, Heavenly bodies etc. They control and influence our life in many ways, but they are controlled by the Law of Nature, the Law of Paramatman. Every body knows how the sun looks like, every body knows how the moons looks like. So these can be drawn by any one. People may argue again, How can one draw the Imagaes of Vishnu, and Shiva. They are devata too. Our ancient saints had seen them. They knew how they were looking like, hence they could draw their images. Any thing you see can be drawn. The word "can" means the ability. Now lets see whether this philosophy is followed or not.Muslims keep the images of the Holy Mosque of Mecca and Madina with them. Christians draw the images of Jesus, and all other angels. But there is no death penalty fixed for them by any constitution of the earth. So one can draw what he sees, commonly said as Right of expression, the very human right accepted by all the countries.3. Both the Islam and Christianity don't support the democratic form of Government. Where as the Sanatan philosophy says, there must be a king in every kingdom, and the must be one who is accepted by all. There are many examples in the Vedas and Puranas, where the Kings left the position and left the kingdom, because people did not accept them as a king. Kalinga (Situated on the East Coast of India. Now a days known as Odisha or Orissa) was a democratic country. (The democracy was lost when Ashoka invaded kalinga). And we know it that even some countries that say their National Religion is Islam are democratic countries.4. Both Islam and Christianity imposes death penalty for the Scientists who find any theory that negates the theories put in the Holy Books. Example Gallilio. But Sanatan Philosophy says there is no end to knowledge. One should explore more and more to bring the truth. Even if some body found some thing contrary to the Vedas, were not put to death, they became great saints, like Shankarachary, Bhagban Budha, Bhagban jain. This Sanatan Philosophy is followed every where, and makes new inventions every day. many times they proved how the words of all the religious books (I said all, not of any particular) contain some sort of errors. There are a number of examples more that shows how the Philosophy mentioned in Vedas are prevailing on the earth. This is because, Vedas are the words of the Paramatman.

When I read and hear some people saying that the so called Hinduism (which I say the Sanatan Philosophy ) is loosing its importance, I cant stop myself laughing a loud, as I see the Sanatan Philosophy is followed every where  on this earth. And I believe, if there were any aother land like earth, the principles would have been followed there too. I am not saying it is followed by some individuals privately, it is followed by all the Governments. And the countries those are not following this philosophy are charged of violance of Human Rights, may it be the Arabian Countries or some part of Pakistan. Mind it, the Government of Pakistan too follows the Sanatan philosophy.Before I say How, lets know what is Sanatan Philosophy.It is a philosophy mentioned in Vedas, the oldest available writings by human. It says human should follow Varnashram Dharma. That means, there will be four classes of people based on their internal qualities and qualifications, and four stages of life based on the age. The Goverment of India however says that the Varna is derived by birth, but as per Vedas, and as said by Bhagban Krishna in Srimad Bhagabat Geeta, varna is known from the gunas or internal quality of a human. Now lets see, is it followed every where or not - 1. All the human from the age of 6 to 18 go to school and are expected not to engage in any relation  - said as Brahmacharya Ashram in the vedas2. All the human after the age of 18 allowed to work to earn livelihood, get married, get children - said as Grihastha Ashram in Vedas3. All the person above the age of 60 are retired from any services - said as Banaprastha Ashram in Vedas. Although this Ashram says that at this age people should move towards forests, but it is not compulsory, it is the will.4. All people above the age of 60 spend much of their time chanting the name of God, and during the very old age, the left everything - said as Sanyas ashram in Vedas.The the very essentials of the Vedas are followed by all human on this earth, whether the are born in India or not, whether they worship the form of Deities as mentioned in Vedas or not. Now the Varna..1. In every country there are Teachers and Preachers and Social Activist who fight for human rights and suggest the rullers about the good and the bad - said as Brahmana by the Vedas2. In every country there are rullers, army, police judges  - said as Kshatriya by the Vedas3. In every country there are people who are engaged in various profession and vocation to earn their livelihood - said as Baishyas by the Vedas4. In every country there are a sort of people, who are bad in studies, who remain dirty in their appearance, they eat almost every thing, even the human flesh if allowed, they are ready to do any kind of work for money even adultery and prostitution  - said as Sudras in Vedas.This is the only conflicting fact when I read the Vedas, Upanishads and the true color in India. In any of the Vedas, no profession has been classified as of Sudra. Only one vocation is said of  a sudra very often, and that is of a Chamar, meaning people who remove and sale the skin of an animal. But interestingly, the Brahmans and Brahmacharies who are considered as the best are asked to wear a Deer skin. It means they are sudras too. Now a days we see, ther Sceduled Castes, Sceduled tribes, Other Backward Castes in India. I don't understand how they were originated. As per the law of this land, a child of a brahman will be a brahman, kshatriya will be a kshatriya, but no such reference found in Vedas.But one thing that is to be appreciated that, even though the Government of India classified the people by way of Birth, the words of Vedas are followed, that to be a lawer or teacher you need qualification, not birth from a teacher.So we saw that the Varnashram Dharma is followed by every body in this earth. So directly people are following Vedas, even if the say it on not.What I meant to say is that, what ever happens on this earth is the wish of God, the Supreme soul, who narrated the Vedas during the early days of Human civilization. For some time Asuras get into power and destroy all the good things on the earth. But, believe on the words of God as he said, he will come to earth again to save us. 

Before I saw how many Gods exist in Hindu belief,first of all, we have to know what is the meaning of God or who is God.In Holy Q'ran this is chapter 112, which reads:“ In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Say (O Muhammad), He is God, the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone”. If we search in dictionary we may find some different answer, but this is the true meaning of God I believe. There are many other words that are viewed equal with God, namely, 'Deity'. But I see these are different words, in Sanatan Dharma, presently known as Hinduism.Many scholars argue that Sanatan Dharma is 'Polytheism' i.e. belief of multiple gods, also usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own mythologies and rituals. But truely it is not so.Lets see the stages of the world as described in Vedas. The lowest stage is of 'danavas' or 'dasyus' or 'rakhsyas' etc. who are at par with the term' saitan' or 'hevan' used in 'Islam'. Above them are the animals, birds, insects, mammals etc. They are well known to every one. Above them are Human. Then comes 'Gandharva' or 'Jakshya' or 'Yakshya' or 'apsaras'. In Hindu mythology, they are in Heaven live with Devatas, some are dancers, some are singers, some are artists. There is no reference of such lives in other religions. Then comes the most confusing lives, Devatas, whom many consider as Gods and Goddesses. I don't find any classification of Devatas in Hindu books, but I find they are of following classes, namely-
1. Stars, Planets and other Heavenly bodies viz. Surya Dev (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Prithvi (Earth), etc. and their gender is also described.
2. Natural Forces viz. Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air), etc, their gender is also described.
3. Other Super Natural Persons who have control or command over some or all natural forces viz. Indra control rain, Kubera controls Wealth, Saraswati controls Knowledge.
4. Most powerful of all Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma. Who is the most powerful of these is not answered in any of the Hindu Holy Books.
Vishnu always pray and say Shiva is his Iswar (God), and Shiva always say Vishnu is his Iswar. Example, in Ramayan, when Prabhu ram started ccnstruction of Ram Setu (also known as Adams Bridge), he constructed a temple too and named it  as "Rameswaram" . When others asked what is the meaning of this term, he said," Ramasya Iswaram" means Iswar of ram. But Shiva said," Rama jasya Iswaram" means whose Iswar is Ram. It is a temple where both Vishnu and Shiva are worshiped. So, both Shiva and Vishnu said one more word, "Iswara". This term has the same meaning as that of "Allah" in Islam. some other words par with Iswara used in Hindu books are "parameswar" or "Paramatma" or "Brahman"Some scholars say "brahman" is the combined name of these three Devatas. But I don't find any such reference in Hindu holy Books.Sanskrit Brahman (an n-stem, nominative bráhmā) from a root bṛh " to swell, grow, enlarge". is a neuter noun to be distinguished from the masculine brahmán - denoting a person associated with Brahman - and Brahmā, the creator God of the Hindu Trinity, the Trimurti. Brahman is thus a gender-neutral concept that implies greater impersonality than masculine or feminine conceptions of the devatas. 
So, there is no difference at all of what Prophet Mohammed said for Allah or Prophet Jesus said for his Father.  That is why I say Sanatan Dharma is eternal. It is the first words said by God. later when people started forgetting him and doubted on his existence, he sent his son Jusus and at prophet Mohammed to make people aware and not to indulge in inhuman or bad activities.
